Get the codes pulled at someplace like autozone, write then down and repost back here and someone will jump in and help you with further diagnosis, the only way the fuel could cause the light to come on is if it was bad and you would notice that right away with no power, pinging, etc. I run 93 octane in my Yukon when I am taking a trip and am going to be crusing a freeway speeds, it allows for more spark advance from the computer and thus better fuel mileage at those speeds. I would run it all the time but it just not worth only a mile per gallon more in combined driving compaired to the extra 4 at freeway speed.
