Where are the big 3 upgrade ground locations?

Asked by Edward May 08, 2020 at 06:23 PM about the 2008 Dodge Dakota SLT Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm planning to do a big 3 upgrade kit for
my 2008 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab SLT 4x4
3.7L. Where are the two grounds located
on my truck? Pics and information would
be greatly appreciated.

Look under the car for ground straps. There will be one from the engine to the frame. I am guessing there will be another one from the bed to the frame.

You should get yourself a good wire diagram or schematic. A good repair manual should have it. Just be careful when altering grounds that you don't wreak havok on your truck's electronics.
