Heard a humming noise at low speed, took
truck to work and put on lift. Started truck at
put in drive letting it idle while in gear. I can
hear the humming coming from the rear
housing of transmission. Is there a bearing
or something that is going bad in there?
It's an automatic 5.4 liter, transmission was
put in at Ford at 47k miles, currently at 82k
