2008 Jeep grand cherokee misfires

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Jeep has 3.7 with cylinder 2 misfire and popping
noise coming from intake I'm guess a backfire?

So it sat for a week in cold weather dipping in-25.
Moved it on a day of -5 and that's when I first
started hearing the popping noise.   Code reads
p0302 #2 cylinder miss fire.    I have changed coil,
plug, and injector.    Made no difference I have read
that rocker arm problems with these motors but I
have good compression 145-150  wouldn't there be
no compression if rocker arm fell off?     Any other
ideas?

I just had same problems you were having . It started with misfire cylinder 2 . I changed coil pack , plugs ,injectors , and more until engine finally started backfiring . At that point a friend advised remanufactured engine would be best way to go . When the mechanic pulled old engine and checked rocker arm was broken in engine .
