I am selling my 2008 Mercedes SL55 AMG, a relatively valuable and rare
vehicle. I want to ensure I am protected during the test drive process.

Contact your insurance company to make sure your policy covers test drives. I would only allow test drives to people that can show proof that they can afford it. Use your common sense and weed out flakes. Some people should be given ride alongs, not test drives.
