So I just fixed that issue on my Nissan Quest 2008. Just like a house AC system there is a air filter that gets clogged and requires changing. The clogging causes front compressor from opening. Easy to change the two filters and l could walk through it but there several informative videos on replacing that on YouTube. Cost you the price of filters really easy to replace

I have a question for Mr Do the 2004 Nissan Quest have the same filter issue. My front AC does not blow but rear does. I have had the blower motor, blower motor resistor and now the control knobs all replaced. I have checked the two fuses that I can find that are related to the AC but nothing seems to work. Someone suggested that the compressor relay may be bad but I would assume that if the back Ac still blows then the compressor relay is still good. any help would be greatly appreciated since I live in deep south Texas it can get pretty dang HOT.
