Is the problem isolated to the front or rear? Does the dash indicator blink? Is it blinking fast? Sorry for all the questions but these questions will help us provide a better answer.

Sometimes, a bulb doesn't look blown but is. You may want to try a new bulb or swap the one from the working side. You could also use a test light and check the socket for power. I've also heard of the wires shorting/getting frayed where they feed into the trunk through the grommet. I would start by checking for visible wire issues, check for power with a meter or test light, then replace/swap the bulb. Hope this helps.
