I am buying a 2008 Miata MX-5 and want to have a spare tire donot.

A Mazda3 and Mazda6 spare will fit for a spare and it should fit in trunk as well. Here is a link for Miata.net that should give you some more info: http://forum.miata.net/vb/archive/index.php/t-416110.html
