Interior lights

Asked by Orahn Jun 27, 2017 at 08:05 PM about the 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L GLS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was having an issue with one of the front dome
lights and changed both bulbs. They would work
intermittently but now neither of them will come
on, with the button pressed or door open. I have
checked the fuse which isn't blown. All I can find is
issues with them not turning on with the door open
but mine won't turn on period.

Make sure u have the correct bulb and see if you are getting power and ground at the socket, and if u are make sure the bulbs are seated correctly,

I don't have a voltmeter but I'll see if autozone could test it for me. Where would I test the ground? I assume testing the socket would be as it sounds.

If you get. A basic test light form autozone you can hook it up where the bulbs go and see if it lights up
