HIGH RPM AND NOT SPEEDING UP

WHEN I STEP ON THE GAS; THE RPMS SHOOT UP BUT THE CAR DOES'NT SPEED UP. THAT ALSO DOWNHILL: IS IT CLUTCH OR A SENSOR PROBLEM????

Check the fluid in the clutch master cylinder if it's low refill it but note they have trouble with the clutch slave cylinder and clutches. You might want to watch the slave cylinder operate the clutch while someone steps on the pedal
