Only use Honda DW-1 fluid. You will regret using anything but Honda approved fluid. I have 221,000 on my 2001 Honda Accord and the transmission shifts like the day I bought it. You can get it if you shop around for $7 a quart!

Recently I changed my ATF of my Honda Fit 2010 . But a mechanic told me , after getting some of my ATF with the stick, that is was not the type that had to be used in the Hondas . I remember it was a little clear , or liquid , and with a light pink color included in a more dark background fluid . The ATF of Honda cars is always thick and dark , like an oil , and the liquid I saw at the top of the stick was not the correct one to used or not . Help me please !
