Engine won't turn over, died at stop sign

08 jeep liberty died at stop sign with no
warning lights, no clanking noises, not
steaming, No exhaust smoke, but battery
was dead. Put jump box on it and it
turned over. Had it towed and replaced
starter cause it was burnt up but now
seems like it might be seized could it
possible b something else

sounds like your battery died and the mechanic took you for a ride. The jump got the engine going and the alternator would have gotten you where you wanted to go, but you had it towed. Mechanic replaced the starter, which was likely good, with a rebuilt that isn't good. Starters have a warranty. Replace it.
