Headlights

Asked by DiscoD123 Apr 01, 2019 at 04:09 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Equinox LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The headlight switch on my SUV does not work correctly.  When I switch from
auto sensing to headlights during daytime the headlights do not work.  If I cover
the sensor they work correctly. Also the brightness of the headlights when it
changes from daytime running lights to low beam does not change.  Any Ideas?

Note the diagram. Any applicable headlamp trouble codes? At the moment I think the headlamp switch/multifunction switch might be faulty? Of course if you replace that switch and it doesn't fix the problem, your going to be thinking of some mean names to call me and I don't blame you. Just my opinion.
