Asked by Haydukshawn Feb 17, 2015 at 05:56 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: General

I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. I replaced a head lamp the other day and must have left the
lights on. Battery drained so I had it recharged. After the car kicked on all the sudden the
engine light came on. Well today I went to take it for an oil change and it would shift out
of first gear. I also hear a clicking sound near the shifter when I apply the brake. Anyone
know what it could be? BTW about 35 codes came up on the readings. I can supply them
if its helpful. Thanks

Try a reboot, disconnect the battery for about a minute and reconnect, start the car and see if it helps.

Camaro I put the battery back on but nothing happened. I hear a clicking sound around the shifter area when I apply the brake. Know what that might be? It never sounded like that before.
