I have 08 camry it doesnt rev more than 2500 rpm.
It won't start one time need help gas pedal. Check
engine light is on.Auto zone read my check ligjt for
Maf sensor. i replaced maf sensor after market
from ebay but the check light sstill on.I went to
autozone for check light on still show me maf
sensor problem code. What should i do. Any body

Assuming the MAF is a "good used one"...or even a "good NEW one" one would now check wiring from Computer to MAF. Need to know ENGINE TYPE...and..you would have to purchase a cheap Digital volt ohm meter from Walmart. Did you by chance disconnect the BATTERY recently?

Yes i disconnect battery when i change air filter and maf sensor. 2.4L camry SE. Yes i got digital meter volt ohm. Help me how to test maf sensor and connection with volt ohm meter.2008 camry is recall dash , window master swithes and .... I got schdule to replace sticky dash and window swithes in next week. Thanks for helping.

OK......realize this. When you disconnect a battery on these modern cars...you erase computer memory. The computer must be relearned and reset. This is done at the Dealer with a Scan Tool. Sometimes a relearn can be done by letting the engine idle and shifting from park to neutral several times with you foot on the brakes. Since a MAF code keeps coming back and the check engine light is on when the engine is running...and...you replaced the MAF......we need to see if the MAF has battery voltage on the VIOLET wire going to the sensor. If there is NOT about 12.3 volts DC on the violet wire with the key ON engine not running...you need to check the 10 amp EFI No. 3 fuse. Where is this fuse?? I don't know yet. You might find it under the hood...under the dash...or behind the left or right side kick panels.

Yes efi no.3 fuse is broke. I replaced it. Check engine light still on. Should I go to autozone to test the code? I tried severel times by letting idle park and neuteral but cel doesnt go off. Thanks for helpfull answer.
sometimes you can clean the MAF sensor with cleaner or it might be in backwards. on some cars it can be put in backwards, on some it cant

If the EFI Fuse was blown.....I always worry....what made it go bad? Also....what is the NUMBER of the MAF code? Check that fuse again....if it blown again....you have an electrical SHORT some where.

I just got back from autozone. They reset my codes it cel has gone for now. I m so happy now. Thanks for your time and answers. God bless you all
