2008 gmc yukon brake lights not working but the third brake light does

Check out the fuse first, then the brake pedal switch right near the brake pedal. Next i would check and make sure that the bulbs just didn't go out around the same time. That's 3 easy things you can check and if it's not any of them it's probably a ground then.
