Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On two different occasions I have driven on road base , after applying my
brakes they kick back and then go to floor. It's like a shutter on the pedal.I
stop and then reapply the brakes and everything seems fine. I stopped by the
Ford dealership , they think it is the rotors . I know nothing , I know horses not

Check the Master Cylinder. If u change it. Bleed the air out of tbe Ines. Sounds like it needs a master cylinder.

The booster may be losing vacuum or the master cylinder could be bad. Check the vacuum hoses going to the booster. If the Master Cyl is filled to the proper level, try to bleed the brakes. Start at the furthest wheel and work your way to the left front.

You are only giving partial answers... tell them how to fix it not just where to look.
