08 Ford Explorer XLT, how do I know of the catalizer  
converter are working I can see them turning into
fire, and truck has misfires and runs roughly and
looses power and can’t run.. help please

Bro if you got red hot cats DO NOT DRIVE till rich overfuel condition is fixed or you WILL BURN IT TO THE TIRES. This is caused generally by a injector failure stuck open or spark plugs,coils wires. If the cats got to red hot (glowing) they are damaged and this will cause a secondary runability issue as the cat is melted inside the unit. Codes will appear LIKE but may or may not be specific. Po301thru 8 cylinder misfire the last digit being the cylinder in question. Injector will say which one it is saying open or shorted if this is a V8 4.3 for example coils are very seceptible to failure plugs as well. Hope this helps. Also check all fuses
