Explorer 2008 sunroof drain exit

Asked by Guru2QKDX Mar 01, 2020 at 03:30 AM about the 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The drain is clogged up from the exit and water is building up on the floor
soaking the carpets. I've believe this is the case as I've poured water down the
drain and saw it building up in the floor - everything else is dry - and the water
is not dropping out of anywhere beneath the car.
Any pictures would also be great....

Try blowing air own the drain tube from a compressor. This will usually clear the clog. You should see it come out the bottom around the passenger's seat.

Thanks - but I don't want to risk detaching any connectors. Where does the drain come out exactly? is it behind the wheel cover?
