Rear Turn Signal issues

Asked by Gilbert7121955 Sep 20, 2018 at 05:56 AM about the 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My left rear turn signal stops working sporadically. When it does, all other lights,
including the front left blinker, work O.K. Restarting the car fixes the problem.
The bulb has been changed multiple times. The issue seems to be worse in wet
weather.

Sounds like a ground issue, probably lose. When the condition is present, remove the bulb from the proper signal socket and check for voltage with a meter. If no voltage present, check positive voltage within socket with a known good ground. If voltage appears, begin checking ground wire looking for faults.
