2008 Subaru Outback Question

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

solid yellow check engine light with flashing green cruise control light.. what does this
mean, any ideas?? as well can I drive the car or does it need immediate service?

The cruise control always blinks disables with the check engine light. If you have over 100K miles on it, it's possible that the CAT converter needs to be replaced. There was a software update done to 08 and 09 models that had to do with how it used the fuel and included extending the warranty on CAT converters due to this problem. Check with your Subaru dealer about this.
