Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i HAVE A 2008 OUTBACK 4 xt LIMITED WITH 128,000 MILES. . i REPLACED
HEAD GASKETS BUT NOW THE TRANSMISSION WENT and IT NEEDS
STRUTS. IS IT WORTH FIXING? THIS CAR HAS COST ME A LOT

Probably not. Price a new transmission and struts and compare that to what the car is worth.

Really depends on what the car is worth to you... fixing it is always less expensive... compared to buying a new or later model car.

Sales tax and insurance on a newer car is expensive. I wouldn't worry about the overall value... think of the service you'll get.
