Starter on a 2008 Saturn aura

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car won't turn over so I checked fuses battery
and relays. There all good. Next was the starter. So
I took a jumper wire to the starter sylinoid and all it
does is click. Does that mean the starters bad?
When I'm inside the car using the key it won't do
anything

I took the jumper wire to the starter relay and all it did was click the sylinoid on the starter. Not what I said above.
