Hi,
I had the battery changed in my car and now the air conditioner is only
blowing hot air. Is this a common problem and how do I fix this?

May need new ac compressor or just an ac recharge. Try an ac recharge and if that doesn't work, either take it to a mechanic or try to change the compressor yourself if youre up for lots of research and work.

Also, regarding the battery change, were any of the fuses tampered with?

Hi Josh, I'm not sure if the mechanic touched the fuses. I did read something that said I could try resetting the HVAC system.
