How do I get my brights to turn off?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When my low beams are on my brights kick on as well, unless I hold the turn signal wand
back.  This also happens when I use my turn signal to signal a right turn.  What can I do
to fix this or what is the problem?

Just wondering if anyone found the fix for this? I am having the same problem on my 06 Grand Prix

Replace the turn signal/bright switch (multifunction swith) on left side of steering column

I had the same problem. I had to replace the multi function switch. Only a few hundred bucks.
