Battery issue 2007 Sonata

My old battery died I purchased a new one
and now car will not start is there a certain
process that needs to happen in order for the
car to read a new battery ? I have been told
there is but do not know what it is? Help!

No special procedure. Just connect the Positive (+) cable first and then the Negative (-) cable. Make sure the connections are clean and tight. Verify the new battery is fully charged.
