2008 sebring convertible problems. Everything seemed to work when opening and closing but the trunk lid would go back now. I finally go the trunk lid to go down, but now the top will not latch

2008 convertible top will not go all the way down. Was having problems with the
trunk lid going down, but after two days, it finally went down. Now the roof part
will not latch to the windshield. I just says malfunction. I tried to open it up and it
will not do anything. But when I push the button to open or close, you can hear
the hydraulic motor tfunning

Mine does the same thing. How did you get yours fixed ?
I was letting mine up and it froze then came on as if it was going to latch to the windshield and it will not. What do I need to do.

When mine did this I used the bypass code ......press the conferrable down button 3 times then hold the button down for 2minutes

Anyone ever find out how to fix this? Mine is having the exact same problem and I don't know what to do.
