Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Dodge Avenger 3.5L R/T has a soaked
drivers side floor, seat belts, top drivers side pillar
and wet floor behind drivers seat. What could be
the problem? And how much would it cost for a
technician to fix it?

My entire passenger side was soaked. I took everything out including all seats, trim, and carpet. The leak was coming from a slot low in the A Pillar that hold a plastic trim piece near the passengers right foot. Traced origin to a large grommet on the A Pillar just above the hinge. The grommet was in place but just lost its seal. May want to also check where electrical components run from the A Pillar into the door.
