Engine swap?

Asked by scornell Apr 14, 2016 at 08:42 AM about the 2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT Super Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Ford F-250 with a 5.4l in it. It
has high mileage so I'm starting to look for
a new motor for it. I was wondering if I
could put a newer more efficient one in. Or
is the bracketing different
(2010+ Or when ever they changed the
5.4l)

Prius motor? Different for sure. Lol another 5.4 ? 2008 had some improvements but 09+ sounds like gets difficult.

I have a 2002 Ford f250 motor 54 and I was wondering if I can put it in a 2008 Ford f250 5.4 motor
