Chevy silverado 2500 HD Window Failure

Asked by Jvnior Oct 14, 2018 at 03:04 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Work Truck Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently purchased a 2500 HD diesel Chevy Silverado 2007 V6.6 truck, and
for some reason I am having faliures on the windows. The drivers side window
works fine, yet when I try to lower or higher the passenger windows (all 3/4
excluding drivers) they wont lower. I do hear like a click from the switch on the
drivers side. Im wondering if it is maybe my switch. Could someone help out
would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have the window lock out engaged? That's the button on the switch that appears to do nothing

Hey, Sorry for lack of info. But for some reason the 2 passenger side seats on the right side dont work. Both windows on my left side (drivers side) are working fine. I replaced the motor, for the right side/passenger sides and they dont seem to work. Im wondering if it could be the switch. If so anyone got any idea where one could get that model, for a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD diesel V 6.6

If you changed the motor check the wiring in the door jamb for breaks, you can pull the rubber tube out far enough to tug on the heavy wires going to the motor if they are good all you need is the VIN code and a Chevy dealer to get the switch, Ihope this helps. Take care
