because they get serviced as an assembly. the ball joints are not removable off the OEM control arm. Aftermarket units from napa come as a two piece setup and offer better control over caster angle as well as allowing you to now service the ball joint separately from the control arm.

I have an 06 Magnum and was just curious if any other magnum owners have had to replace their upper ball joints? Pretty vital piece as it holds the wheel on and all. Mine were shot.

replaced upper control arm, lower control arm, tension strut, shocks and rack n pinion. now it sits 2" high in front. they will not align it because it is too high. what did i do wrong
