Is this an electrical Issue?

Asked by GuruRK5JV Feb 11, 2020 at 08:49 PM about the 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My odometer bottoms out, the battery light comes on, the ASL light comes on
and my heat/air blasts all at same time.  It happens randomly and only last for
about 2 seconds, then everything goes back to normal.  This happens multiple
times a day

I would check the condition of the battery. When they get weak, weird electrical issues as you are describing can occur. Probe the battery with your multimeter. it should read 12.4 or higher. If the battery over 5 years old, it could be suspect. You can also have your local auto parts store load test it for free.
