Your 2005 Grand Marquis has distributorless ignition. Each spark plug has an ignition coil on it (coil on plug). There is no distributor. The coils are controlled by the engine ECU. If you are talking about the electrical distribution harness, that is probably the wiring that exits the underhood fusebox that is near the battery on the passenger side.
