2006 chevy transmisson

Trans is making a dry noise and shifts good 1 to 2 but slips from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 sometimes not stay in lockup. I changed the fluid no chunks of metal just dirty and normal silver shaving. The noise was there thats why i changed fluid and thats when it started slipping. could this be the seloniods?

yes it could. sometime you get check engine light. if not seloniods more then likly 3-4 clutch pack. how many miles?

170000 and it dont slip all the time if your going easy. Fluid doesent smell burnt. What does the 2 switches do ?
