I have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4, we had to put a new mass jacket in it. As soon as it was in we hooked the battery up and went to start it, when we attempted to start it, it just clicked, like the motor had locked up. We assumed that was what it was until we were told to first adjust something on the transmission. Can you please help me out with this?

Ok, I know Chevys so what is a mass jacket? The starter clicking could be a low battery, bad battery connections, or the starter itself has a problem. Why would you think the engine is locked up?
