01 Tahoe 5.3 4wd - Wont start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

(01 Tahoe 5.3 4wd) makes single click sound when I
try to crank, but thats it. Battery reading good at
12.4v. Replaced starter + it worked for one day. But
today it won't crank. Exactly the same symptoms as
before replacing the starter - single click but wont
crank. Any ideas?

Starter relay. Not certain about GM, but Chrysler uses the same relay at the fuse panel for power windows, ac clutch, etc. So they can be swapped to see if the problem is solved. If the parts are not interchangeable, then obtain a new relay. Doubt they are expensive. Maybe 10 to 15 bucks.
