Asked by GeeMan357 Mar 19, 2018 at 03:01 PM about the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently purchased pair of
universal taillights online. No
good $%#^ burnt my brake
sockets and blew my fuses. So I
put the old lights back on. Now I
have no brake lights. I've
replaced the bulbs, fuses, and
switch. Still no brake lights. I've
unplugged the t-plug, but where
do I connect the tail lights?

May have melted wires. Check fuses, switch at peddle ,test to see where you are getting power to and start there.
