I currently have a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe LT, it has a 5.3 Liter V8, 4WD and I am
not sure about this but I think it has the Flex Fuel technology (whatever that is).
My question is about the DVD system that is inside it and the T.P.M.S. First:
How do I know if my tires have the T.P.M.S in them and how do I program them
if they do have them. ( Rims were changed from the stock 16's to 20's and yes
the tires were scaled to fit.) And Second: The LCD display on the DVD player
seems to have a problem staying on when opening it, I will open the monitor
and it will work while it isn't fully down but once it is fully in the down position it
shuts off and won't work anymore. What is the likely cause of this problem and
how do I fix this problem?

If you bought the tires usually you would know I'f its direct tpms because the sensor goes in or on the valve of the tire. Most of the newer cars thanks to the TREAD act have atleast indirect tpms in that they use sensor on the wheel to measure the rotational speed of the wheel as your moving (if the speeds are off it may think your pressures are off). You could look in your owner's manual for features, look for the tire with ! Symbol on the dashboard or look up your year make and model manufacture repair manual and go to the abs/esc section which talks about the brake system and electronic stability control.

Most cars after 2008 have direct tpms according to edmunds.com. as far as the lcd screen and it only turns off after a certain degree and not time then it's probably either a pinched cable, faulty cable, or your screen is faulty.
@Shurely0715: Allow me to clarify as my question isn't very clear. I just got the truck and the rims on it were what came with it which were the 20's not the stock 16's. I just didn't know how to tell if my trucks tires had them or not. This truck didn't come with the owners manual and so I can't refer to it to find out any information about it. I working on acquiring the owners manual. So again how can I tell if my tires have it or not and how do I program them if it does.

You can usually find out if you have tpms by looking for the tire with a "!" In it on the dashboard. It's a light that comes on when your sensors indicate your wheel speeds are off. Its. Direct tpms you may be able to look at the tire valve and see if has a beveled edge or Tpms printed on it. As far as programming you have to have a tpms scan tool.
I already knew my truck has a tire monitoring system as I was getting a message telling me to maintain the Tire Monitoring System. My question was to try and figure out if my tires had the sensors in them or not as I have never seen them before, however, I found out today my tires do have the sensors in them and I also figured out how to program or relearn the sensors to the truck. I will be making a video on how to do this for my model year of truck in the near future so others may also know how to program them. Thank you for trying to help, have a great Day/Evening/Night

I'm not to into the TPMS just because i havent had one in my car because its old, me and my dad work on cars here and there, but rarely with the TPMS. All i know is you can look at the valve, owners manual, and manufactures repair manual. how did you find out?

Your biggest problem is too many drinks spilled in radio hole. And the 20”s
@GuruPD8FJ I am not exactly sure where you got drinks in the radio hole from but okay. If you have nothing proper to contribute that actually helps fix an issue don't bother replying. It is a waste of both our times and frankly you should know better.
