Cruise control does not work. No power on light. Fuses are good

Note the diagram for cruise control. You can see wire color for illumination, may go hot when you turn on the key? You can check that wire for voltage. You see ref voltage circuit and wire color, use a digital multimeter to check for voltage. The wire on the far left, is ground, note the wire color. I can only help with testing. I've already listed the possible issues. good luck
