Not sure

Asked by Madman1059 Sep 12, 2018 at 11:05 PM about the 2004 Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok here's my question. When I have to put the extra
inch into the pedal to get over the hill in the city
and my whole car starts to shake, I let off the gas
and then get back on it and its fine. Any ideas?

When was the last tune-up? Check the air filter. Is it missing under load?
