I have a wrecked 2004 Ford Explorer XLT. I found a really good 2002 Ford Explorer XLT but it needs a transmission. Can I pull the one from my wrecked Ford & install in the new one?

Question type: Car Customization

Also, how much should I expect to pay if this can
be done. Thanks for any advice given.

just sell the wreck for salvage- don't waste money on an explorer project- just save up and buy another car-
