2004 Ford Explorer alarm system.

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer,  opened the door with key instead of remote and the alarm came on, only way to stop it is taking the battery cables off, any suggestions.

after market alarm?

If you have another remote try using it. I had to replace the remote on my 2003 because of age and use. Same for the 1996 and 1999.
