oil change frequnecy

take out the plugs and spray fogging oil in the cylinder if it's going to sit for 6 months , I change oil when it's past a brown color , it'll look worse when you drain it , moisture is a big enemy of engines that sit

it's a 2007 versa, that has the airbag recall. The dealer is providing me a loaner, until takata can install them. I will take your advice.

I wouldn't change the oil again, I would just start it and drive it when the repair is completed.
