Intermittent spark.

Asked by Shane Feb 29, 2016 at 02:03 PM about the 1995 Acura Integra LS Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok. Well.  I drove my integra to work one
cold day. Went out to lunch and started her
up and let it run for about 20 minutes. I
shut it off and then when I was going to
leave three hours later no spark. So I
replaced the dizzy. The cap and rotor. The
wires. And main relay. Turns out my ecu
was bad. So I found a p06 and got it
chipped to a pr4. Put it in and no spark.
When I first try and start it. It sparks. But
by second turn over no spark. Does the
coil need to be bolted down. Or should I
just go back to my external coil?
