07 Ford focus 2.0 engine has new alternator
and battery but car won't stay running. Runs
for a couple minutes then battery light
comes on radio and headlights will go off
the idle drops real low until car does had to
jump start 10 yesterday

you need a multi meter to test the voltages of the batt. and alt. , static and when running . 12.5 V off and at least 14+ V when running

Sounds like no power going to alternator use test light to check for power should have power even with vehicle off if no power check for blown alternator fuse or fusible link wire going to alternator.
