Any Check engine codes? That's where you start. Are you thinking engine issue is affecting the AC? Or a separate issue?

P1000 relates to the ECM losing power or battery being replaced? Basically a drive cycle has not finished. P0351. Faulty Ignition Coil 1 Ignition Coil 1 harness is open or shorted Ignition Coil 1 circuit poor electrical connection Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) I copied off internet. Cylinder #1.

Most newer cars will shut off AC when an engine issue happens that demands more power or an electrical issue. It is understood that AC is not a necessary component for operation of vehicle. It probably shut AC off. Look at coil #1 test it. Harness if it tests good. Concentrate on 351 issue and you will probably get your AC back

Coils are about $50 each. If it is the coil. Harness is $30-60 if it is 1 or 2 wires. I would only buy motorcraft.

Bad Coils can make a car seem like it is falling apart with today's higher performance engines.

#1 is front by radiator on the left as you are looking at car. 1234 on left. 5678 on right. 4 & 8 are under cowl hard to reach.
