Do I need a new starter or do I need a new alternator?

Asked by Paula07LS Apr 25, 2020 at 02:26 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Impala LS FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a new battery and when I turn the ignition key I'm not even getting a
click sound from the starter..? Do I need a new starter? I don't think its the
alternator because the starter would still make the clicking noise if it was the
alternator, right? can someone please help???? Thank you soo much
