Question type: Car Customization

I have an old Ford Escape 2008 xlt 4 cylinder fwd
and I want to put a stronger engine in there. I feel
like There’s a lot of room for me to put maybe an
eco boost from the 2013 model? Also if I can what

I would recommend spending your money getting a newer model. The problem is there is a large amount of work required when you replace a different size engine in a vehicle. Motor mounts, exhaust system, transmission, emissions, gauges, wiring, etc. All of this needs to be figured out. If you are paying a garage to figure all this out, it will be a very expensive endeavor.
