2008 dodge avenger won't start

have a 2008 avenger that I just changed the
alternator on and checked the battery and
terminals and now my car won't start. The lights
come on but it won't crank. Any ideas?

It could be a fuse i had a fuse blow under my hood kept my transmission from shifting wouldn't hurt to check plus it lit up my dash lights for check engine and my transmission throttle light trac light also after the fuse was replaced all dash lights are out transmission is running gr6

double check battery connections, unusual battery location make dirty connections very big suspect

    There is no fire to starter when the switch is engaged. I have checked the ASD. The battery is charged, lights and radio will work.
