I just got a 2007 chrysler town and country, and when i have the back doors slid open, the directionals flash for about 30 seconds then turn off. is that normal?

These are safety flashers to warn passing traffic there may be passengers entering or exiting your vehicle. If you don't like this feature, you can deselect it from your menu as you scroll through the options on your settings, but you must have the vehicle running and in park.
